Most pressure washers are powered by electricity and have a cable that runs to the mains power supply. This is because most pressure washers are used around the home and so this is practical with most having cables that are over five metres in length. If the cable is not long enough then you can always use an extension cable and this is often needed when using the pressure washer in the garden.
The important thing to look for with electric pressure washers is the power that it uses and this is stated in watts. The more power that the electric pressure washer uses the more it will cost to run but will also offer more pressure and therefore be more effective at shifting tough dirt.
